Anonymous Helps Foil ISIS Terror Plot In Italy

Anonymous hackers allege to have foiled an ISIS terror attack on Italy after boosting its operations following the Paris killings.

The group used their Operation Paris Twitter account to publicize: ‘In this month we are working silence. We have already foiled one attack #ISIS against Italy, we hope to block others.’

The internet activists swore to track down terrorists on the internet in the wake of last month’s terrorist attacks in Paris, where 130 people were killed.

No additional information has been given regarding the terror plot in Italy.

Experts have cautioned that one of Islamic State’s most destructive tools is their well-hone social media technique that allows it get in touch with sympathizers globally.

The hacktivists declared war on Islamic State in a YouTube footage days after the Paris attacks, cautioning the terrorists to ‘expect us’ as its members are going to ‘hunt you down’.

In the clip, a spokesman donning the group’s signature Guy Fawkes mask stated in French: ‘Anonymous from all over the world will hunt you down. You must know that we will find you and we will not let you go.

‘We will launch the biggest operation ever against you. Expect enormous cyber attacks. War is declared. Get ready.

‘The French people are stronger than you and will emerge from this atrocity even stronger.’

Anonymous already update and publish a list of Twitter accounts they allege spread propaganda in support of Islamic State.

Operation Paris, or #OpParis, is urging the hacking group members to hack into Islamic State sites to steal useful data and leak it on the internet.

Previously this month, Anonymous launched an enormous cyber attack on Turkey, accusing the leader of the country of supporting Islamic State.

The hacking group brought down up to 40,000 sites across Turkey by attacking the root servers of the country.

Anonymous as well threatened to disrupt servers of the country’s government facilities, banks, airports and military services except if they quit supporting Islamic State.
